Dear Leadership,

You always appear in so many different places that many people don’t recognize you when you appear unless you announce yourself as a leader or that you have some sort of position of authority. You are present in every corner of the world. You are present with children and elders. You are present in peace and war. You show up everywhere. You show up in a lot of different styles. You can be up in front of everyone telling them what to do, or you could be backstage holding everything together without anyone knowing. Sometimes I try to be you, but I know I will spend the rest of my life trying to understand you. I know the struggle is worth it though because you are the best way to affect change in the world and impact the people around you. I truly hope to fully understand you someday.
